Summary

This study introduces a new polarization smoothing generalized multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm to improve Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation for low-altitude targets in very high frequency (VHF) radar systems. The method effectively reduces multipath interference, enhancing accuracy in low-angle scenarios.
