Summary

Iotrolan, an iodinated contrast agent, demonstrated significantly fewer side effects compared to non-ionic monomers in intrathecal injection studies. This imaging agent showed no epileptogenic incidents or psychosyndrome symptoms, even with prolonged intracranial retention.
