Summary

Congenital oculonasal synkinesis was observed in a child with maxillary hypoplasia, intermittent exotropia, and high myopia. This case offers insights into the developmental origins of these distinct craniofacial abnormalities.

Background:

Congenital oculonasal synkinesis is a rare neurological condition.

The patient also exhibited congenital oculonasal synkinesis.

Findings:

Oculonasal synkinesis may be linked to the developmental pathways affecting craniofacial structures.
