Early-stage schizophrenia patients show reduced left cerebellar lobule volumes, linked to executive function deficits. These cerebellar abnormalities correlate with cognitive impairments in first-episode psychosis.

  • Utilized the spatially unbiased atlas template of the cerebellum (SUIT) for detailed lobular volume analysis.
  • Compared cerebellar volumes in 40 FEP patients and 40 healthy controls (HCs).
