Abstract:
Aneurysms of the profunda femoris artery (PFA) are exceptionally rare but dreadful because of their high rate of rupture. In this report, we describe the case of a 70-year-old man presented to the emergency department with a ruptured PFA aneurysm. The patient underwent successful aneurysmorrhaphy and distal reconstruction with a vein graft.
