Background:

External jugular vein aneurysms are exceptionally rare vascular malformations.
Diagnosis often relies on clinical suspicion followed by advanced imaging techniques.

Observation:

A 27-year-old female presented with a saccular aneurysm of the right external jugular vein.
Computerized tomogram angiography confirmed the diagnosis of the venous aneurysm.

Findings:

Surgical excision is a primary treatment for symptomatic or aesthetically concerning venous aneurysms.
The patient underwent successful surgical management for her external jugular vein aneurysm.

Implications:

This case highlights the importance of considering rare vascular anomalies in diagnosis.
Successful surgical intervention offers a viable treatment option for external jugular vein aneurysms.
