Marine Actinomycetes with Probiotic Potential and Bioactivity against Multidrug-resistant Bacteria

Marine actinomycetes from the Caspian Sea yield novel antimicrobial compounds effective against multi-drug resistant pathogens like MRSA and VRE. These promising strains also exhibit anti-vibrio activity and produce useful exoenzymes.
