Olfactory Context Dependent Memory: Direct Presentation of Odorants

Context-dependent memory (CDM) is enhanced when retrieval matches encoding context. This study found that odors, as contextual cues, improve memory recall whether presented ambiently or directly, supporting their role in olfactory CDM research.
