Abstract:
Pregnancy is a complex physiologic state with hormonal, hemodynamic, hematologic, and immunologic changes at both global and cellular levels affecting brain, heart, pituitary, thyroid, and kidney. There are many situations in which imaging can aid in diagnosis and subsequent treatment of neurologic conditions during pregnancy.
