Process performance and microbial community structure in thermophilic trickling biofilter reactors for biogas

This study shows that thermophilic trickling biofilters can efficiently convert hydrogen and carbon dioxide into high-purity methane. The microbial analysis revealed key bacteria responsible for this biological methanation process.
