The adequate information of patients

Abstract:
The adequate information of patients. Providing information to patients is an intangible duty for physicians. It must be confirmed by indisputable elements if a lawsuit is initiated, because practitioners have the burden of proof of this information since 1997 and since the May 4th 2002 law. Information is essential in building a trustful relationship between a doctor and his patient, to avoid any surprises if a non-exceptional complication were to occur.
