Abstract:
A case of ventilation-perfusion mismatch due to swallowed DTPA aerosol and a paralyzed hemidiaphragm is shown as a potential source of error in the evaluation of pulmonary embolus. This case emphasizes the importance of radiograph correlation in the interpretation of ventilation-perfusion images.
