Arterial hypertension (AH) prevalence increased despite improved awareness and treatment. While more people are diagnosed and treated, primary prevention of AH remains ineffective, highlighting a need for better public health strategies.

  • To compare 2017 data with previous surveys from 1998, 2002, and 2007.
