Regional Delta Waves In Human Rapid Eye Movement Sleep

Human REM sleep includes delta waves, previously thought only in NREM sleep. This study identified two types: frontal "sawtooth waves" linked to REM activity and medial-occipital slow waves similar to NREM sleep.
