Summary

Adrenal cysts in ferrets may originate from the biliary system, based on epithelial cell markers. Other adrenal cysts in ferrets might stem from dilated blood vessels in the adrenal medulla.

  • Ferret adrenocortical cysts may arise from the biliary system.
  • Medullary cysts in ferrets could be linked to vascular anomalies.
