[Acute uncomplicated cysititis: do we follow the guidelines?]

Background:

• Lower urinary tract infections (LUTIs) are prevalent urologic conditions.

Purpose of the Study:

• To assess urologist adherence to national guidelines for treating patients with lower urinary tract infections, specifically acute uncomplicated cystitis.
• To evaluate prescription patterns and treatment choices among urologists for acute uncomplicated cystitis.

• A survey was conducted using a specially designed questionnaire.
• 161 urologists from Novosibirsk, Barnaul, and Krasnoyarsk, plus participants of the VII Congress of Urologists of Siberia, completed the survey.
