Psoriasis with a dirt-adherent: A rare case report.

Background:

• Cutaneous Dirt-Adherent Disease (CDAD) is a rare psychogenic dermatosis.
• It typically affects young Japanese and Chinese women, presenting on the face, nipples, and areolae.

Observation:

• A 43-year-old Chinese man presented with thick, yellowish-brown, painful crusts on his face for 6 days.
• Histopathology revealed parakeratosis, regular acanthosis, thinned suprapapillary plates, and neutrophil exocytosis.

Findings:

• This case represents the first documented instance of CDAD with rupioid psoriasis skin lesions.
• Clinical and histopathological findings supported a diagnosis of Psoriasis rupioide.

Implications:

• This case expands the known clinical spectrum of CDAD.
• It underscores the importance of considering Psoriasis rupioide in the differential diagnosis of unusual facial crusting disorders.
