Two symmetrical unsaturated acids isolated from Viscum album

Two new acetylene conjugate compounds from Viscum album demonstrated significant antioxidant activity. These compounds, dibutyl (2Z, 6Z)-octa-2, 6-dien-4-yne dioate and its (2E, 6E) isomer, show potential in combating oxidative stress.
