Are Gait Parameters for Through-knee Amputees Different From Matched Transfemoral Amputees?

This study found no significant differences in gait velocity, cadence, stride length, or work of ambulation between through-knee amputation and transfemoral amputation in military patients. Further research with larger patient groups is needed to confirm these findings.
