  • Gastrointestinal GCTs are rare, constituting only 8% of all GCTs, with gastric GCTs being exceptionally infrequent.

Observation:

  • A clinical case of a gastric granular cell tumour is presented.
  • The tumour exhibited specific endoscopic, imagiological, and anatomopathological characteristics.
  • The patient underwent successful laparoscopic surgical resection for the gastric GCT.

Findings:

  • Gastric granular cell tumours, though rare, can occur and present unique diagnostic challenges.
  • Both benign and malignant forms of GCTs exist, necessitating accurate diagnosis.
  • Laparoscopic surgical resection is a viable and effective treatment option for gastric GCTs.

Implications:

  • This case contributes to the limited literature on gastric granular cell tumours.
