Improving Mammography Quality Through EQUIP

On January 1, 2017, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration launched an initiative to improve mammography image quality. This initiative, called the Enhancing Quality Using the Inspection Program, or EQUIP, entails a series of questions that have become part of annual mammography facility inspections required under the Mammography Quality Standards Act.
