  • The case highlights ischemic etiology for a submitral ventricular aneurysm.
  • Electrocardiogram limitations in diagnosing circumflex artery occlusions were noted.
  • Submitral aneurysms can be a late complication of myocardial infarction.

Implications:

  • Diagnostic limitations of electrocardiograms in emergency settings may delay critical interventions for circumflex artery occlusions.
  • Improved stratification tools are needed to identify patients at risk for late infarction complications.
  • Timely diagnosis and treatment of ventricular aneurysms are essential for patient outcomes.
