Correlation between Visual Function and Structural Characteristics of the Macula in Advanced Retinitis Pigmentosa

In advanced retinitis pigmentosa (RP), worsening vision (visual acuity and visual field index) strongly correlates with retinal structural changes. Submacular choroidal thickness decreased but didn't correlate with vision loss.
