Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess mobile form design guidelines using high-fidelity prototypes based on end-user preferences.
  • To investigate the correlation between the System Usability Scale (SUS) and the Study Tailored Evaluation Questionnaire (STEQ).
  • To recommend practical guidelines for group testing in low-resource settings for mobile form design.

Main Methods:

  • A Web-based high-fidelity prototype was developed using Axure RP 8.
  • Thirty research assistants evaluated the prototype, completing tasks and then responding to the STEQ and SUS questionnaires.
  • Usability was assessed using frequency analysis for STEQ and calculated SUS scores.

  • 80% of participants found the form progress indication, navigation, and error messages satisfactory.
  • The prototype achieved an above-average SUS score of 70.4 (SD 11.7).
