Exposure to air pollution during pregnancy and newborn liver function

Exposure to fine particulate matter (PM) during pregnancy, including PM1, PM2.5, and PM10, was linked to elevated liver enzymes like AST, ALT, and GGT in newborns. Proximity to major roads also correlated with these changes.
