Functional remediation improves bipolar disorder functioning with no effects on brain-derived neurotrophic factor

Functional remediation (FR) did not alter serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) levels in adults with bipolar disorder (BD). This intervention improved psychosocial functioning but showed no significant impact on BDNF in euthymic patients.
