Association between fragmented QRS and left ventricular dysfunction in acromegaly patients

Fragmented QRS (fQRS) is common in acromegaly patients and predicts myocardial performance index (MPI) and left ventricular (LV) dysfunction. The presence of fQRS may indicate acromegalic cardiomyopathy development.

- fQRS is frequent in acromegaly patients and independently predicts MPI, which is associated with LV dysfunction.
- fQRS may serve as an indicator for the development of acromegalic cardiomyopathy.
