Umbilical catheterization training: Tissue hybrid versus synthetic trainer

Umbilical catheterization training using a tissue-hybrid simulator (REAL) or a synthetic trainer (ART) showed similar skill and knowledge gains for residents. REAL demonstrated higher fidelity, but both methods improved resident performance.
