Summary

Superficial cerebellar microbleeds (CMBs) are common in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage and strongly indicate cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA). Deep or mixed CMB patterns are linked to other causes of deep intracerebral hemorrhage.
