The effect of stimulus envelope shape on the auditory steady-state response

Customizing the shape of auditory stimulus envelopes significantly improves auditory steady-state responses (ASSRs). Longer decay and off times in trapezoidal envelopes yield higher signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) compared to standard sinusoidal envelopes.
