Developing Canadian Defined Daily Doses for Animals: A Metric to Quantify Antimicrobial Use

New standards for antimicrobial use in Canadian livestock were developed using defined daily doses for animals (DDDvetCAs). These DDDvetCAs will help track antimicrobial exposure and inform stewardship policies in Canada.
