Risk factors for hyponatremia after hypotonic fluid infusion.

Children receiving intravenous fluids (IVF) with lower sodium (Na) concentrations at a 100% maintenance rate had a higher risk of hyponatremia. Low clinical dehydration scale scores and high body temperature also increased hyponatremia risk.

- These findings highlight the importance of careful fluid management and monitoring in pediatric patients to prevent hyponatremia.
