Physical activity is associated with cardiac autonomic function in adolescent men

Higher physical activity (PA) is linked to better heart rate variability (HRV) in adolescent men. Even small increases in PA may improve cardiac autonomic regulation and overall heart health in young individuals.

- A linear increase in HRV with PA suggests even minor activity increments benefit cardiac autonomic regulation.
- These findings highlight the importance of physical activity for enhancing cardiac health in young people.
