Flaplessly placed 2.4-mm mini-implants for maxillary overdentures: a prospective multicentre clinical cohort study

Mini dental implants (MDIs) in the maxilla for overdentures show acceptable prosthetic survival and high patient satisfaction, despite a higher failure rate than in the mandible. This treatment is a valuable option for edentulous patients.
