Summary

Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) diagnoses are unstable over time. Specific MCI subtypes, such as single-domain (sda-MCI) and multiple-domain (mda-MCI), show higher conversion rates to dementia compared to non-amnestic MCI (na-MCI).
