Abstract:
Proliferating trichilemmal tumors are rare tumors that originate from adnexal structures - specifically from the outer root sheaths of hair follicles. These tumors can be benign or malignant. We report a rare case of a giant aggressive forehead trichilemmal tumor that was paradoxically benign on pathology. It was surgically excised and followed-up for 15 years.
