Increased BMI has a linear association with late-onset preeclampsia: A population-based study

Maternal pre-pregnancy BMI is linked to both early and late-onset preeclampsia, but higher BMI is specifically associated with late-onset preeclampsia. Diabetes is not an independent risk factor for either type of preeclampsia.
