Outcomes following Eversion versus Conventional Endarterectomy in the Vascular Quality Initiative Database

Conventional carotid endarterectomy (c-CEA) and eversion carotid endarterectomy (e-CEA) show similar outcomes when c-CEA uses patch angioplasty. Eversion CEA is superior to conventional CEA without patching, reducing stroke and death rates.
