Meningococcal Serogroup B Disease in Vaccinated Children

Background:

  • Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B (MenB) is a leading cause of invasive meningococcal disease (IMD) in Spain.
  • The 4-component MenB (4CMenB) vaccine was approved in Spain in 2014.
