Vitamin D status in acute myocardial infarction: a case-control study

Vitamin D deficiency is not statistically linked to acute myocardial infarction (MI) in Iraq. However, a strong association was found between vitamin D deficiency and MI in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
