Interictal Hyperperfusion in the Higher Visual Cortex in Patients With Episodic Migraine

Patients with episodic migraine (EM) exhibit increased cerebral blood flow (CBF) in specific brain regions between attacks. Arterial spin labeling MRI (ASL-MRI) effectively detects these interictal CBF abnormalities in EM.
