This review examines four cognitive therapies for schizophrenia: cognitive-behavioral therapy for psychosis (CBTp), metacognitive therapy, metacognitive training, and MERIT. Evidence supports CBTp and metacognitive training, with emerging support for MERIT and metacognitive therapy in treating psychosis.
