Lung function parameters in patients with gastroesophageal reflux without respiratory symptoms: a case-control study

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) can cause small airway disease, even without respiratory symptoms. This study found GERD patients had higher airway resistance and altered airflow compared to healthy individuals.
