  • Despite challenges, a high percentage of patients (74% post-, 95.4% during) would recommend allergen immunotherapy, valuing long-lasting symptom relief and safety.

Conclusions:

  • Patient adherence to immunotherapy is significantly influenced by perceived time commitment, adverse reactions, and information provision.
  • Strategies to improve adherence should focus on comprehensive patient education, managing side effects, and integrating therapy into daily life.
  • Individualized treatment plans and doctor-patient communication are vital for optimizing adherence and treatment success.
