Relationship Between Hallux Valgus and Pes Planus: Real or Fiction?

This study found a strong correlation between hallux valgus (big toe deformity) and pes planus (flat feet) in adult males. Lower calcaneal pitch angle and higher lateral talocalcaneal angle were associated with increased hallux valgus severity.
