Black individuals face higher risks and mortality for multiple myeloma (MM) and its precursors, monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) and smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM). Addressing these disparities requires understanding racial differences in risk, biology, and treatment access.
