Recombinant human thyrotropin versus thyroid hormone withdrawal in an Asian population

Thyroid hormone withdrawal (THW) causes more severe hypothyroidism symptoms than recombinant human thyrotropin (rhTSH) preparation for radioactive iodine therapy in well-differentiated thyroid cancer patients. Quality of life differences were not statistically significant between groups.
