Objective:
Introduction: contains a brief overview of the state of scientific research in the field of medical care for inmates (prisoners, convicts) and indicates that research in this area is in constant dynamic development, identifying existing problems and scientific search for ways to solve them. The aim of the article is to summarize and formulate the main features, principles, and regularities that serve as guidelines for determining the appropriate level of medical care in correctional facilities.
Patients And Methods:
Materials and methods: used in the study are the basic general scientific ones, primarily related to the analysis, synthesis, and extrapolation of the results obtained on the entire set of the studied facts and documents.
Conclusion:
Conclusions: set out the main features and principles that medical and legal practices have, or do not, have in place to ensure that health care is fully and appropriately provided.
