Vitamin D deficiency in non-autoimmune hypothyroidism: a case-control study

Vitamin D deficiency is linked to both autoimmune (Hashimoto's thyroiditis) and non-autoimmune hypothyroidism. Lower vitamin D levels were observed in patients with these conditions compared to healthy individuals.
