Sexual stimulation can take various forms, such as physical touch and visual or auditory cues. When this happens, the parasympathetic reflex in the sacral portion of the spinal cord is activated. Summary

Pacinian neurofibroma (PNF), a rare benign tumor, has been documented for the first time on the glans penis. This case report details the characteristics of this unusual penile neurofibroma.

Background:

Pacinian neurofibroma (PNF) is a rare, benign neural tumor characterized by structures resembling pacinian bodies.
PNFs typically occur in areas rich in normal pacinian bodies, such as the extremities.
Despite the prevalence of pacinian bodies in the penis, penile PNFs have not been previously reported.

Observation:

A case of Pacinian neurofibroma (PNF) is presented in a 47-year-old male, located on the dorsal glans penis.
The lesion appeared as a solitary, flesh-colored papule.
Histopathological examination revealed a dermal neurofibroma with bland spindle cells and distinctive nodular structures with a pacinian appearance.

Findings:

Immunohistochemistry showed positivity for CD34 and Vimentin, and negativity for Epithelial Membrane Antigen (EMA).
S100 protein expression was high in the central areas of the pacinian-like nodules and less intense in the periphery and non-nodular regions.
The tumor exhibited a benign morphology without mitoses or atypia.

Implications:

This report describes the first documented case of Pacinian neurofibroma (PNF) on the glans penis.
The findings expand the known anatomical distribution of PNFs.
This case highlights the importance of considering PNF in the differential diagnosis of penile tumors.
